We would like to introduce our processing case that has achieved high-precision machining of thin-walled workpieces. Workpieces that require internal grinding often demand not only roundness and surface roughness but also runout (coaxiality) relative to the outer diameter. This is particularly challenging for thin-walled workpieces, where deformation due to gripping becomes an issue. Universal Precision Internal Grinding Machine YIG-15-SA

A general-purpose precision internal grinding machine with push-button analog control that maximizes the benefits of manual operation; both new and remanufactured machines are eligible for the "Monozukuri Subsidy."

The smallest general-purpose precision internal grinding machine in the YIG series is the YIG-15SA model. It has a proven roundness measurement of 0.07μm. The spindle and grinding wheel spindle have a lower center height of 1080mm, which is highly appreciated as it allows the operator to lean in and easily operate the handles and levers while observing the machining conditions. Additionally, one operator can work with 2 to 3 machines simultaneously. The SA model offers a choice between a "semi-automatic grinding cycle" for processing single items and a "fully automatic grinding cycle" for continuous processing of identical items. It is suitable for small-batch production of various types, ranging from 100 to 300 pieces. The spindle swivel angle of the YIG-15SA is +5° (half angle). The workpieces to be ground are expected to be straight items such as automotive parts, motorcycle components, and electrical parts, with small and short inner diameters.
